Editorial Commentary: When Gluteal Strengthening Fails, Hip Femoroacetabular Impingement Correction Is the Ultimate Physical Therapy

Gluteal strength improvement is positively correlated with improved outcomes following hip arthroscopy femoroacetabular impingement correction. Arthroscopic surgery in itself also postoperative gluteal strength. A trial of physical therapy or best conservative care can improve strength; however, oftentimes this insufficient treatment. Hip pain and function whilst improving When conveyed to patients, the additional knowledge help them buy-in their treatment regimen.
